CRUSADER FOLLIES
An Allegory for the Road
This project dates from the second Iraqi war. Knights, bishops, sisters of mercy line up for the ride, all on horseback in a truck stop world. The series includes large and small canvases, pennants and scrolls, installations and a street funeral for Big Oil.
